Karnali Shivraj secured a promotional boost ahead of the Nepal Volleyball League (NVL) by unveiling legendary Nepali actor Rajesh Hamal as its official brand ambassador.
Announced during a press conference, the move anchors a series of marquee signings aimed at elevating the franchise's identity on and off the court. Hamal, who previously served as brand ambassador for Karnali Yashvi's, expressed genuine enthusiasm about deepening his ties to Nepal’s national sport. "Connecting with volleyball and supporting its growth is a privilege," Hamal noted, emphasising his personal passion for sports development across the nation.
Beyond cinematic star power, Karnali Shivraj fortified its athletic pedigree by naming professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Rabindra Dhant as the 'Face of Karnali'. The franchise also highlighted key national volleyball talent to lead its roster and define its promotional identity.
National team member Sumitra Regmi, who also acts as Karnali Yashvi's marquee player, steps into the spotlight as the 'Glory of Karnali'. Meanwhile, Karnali province natives and national team fixtures Pragati Nath and Kamana Bista were jointly unveiled as the 'Queen of Karnali', anchoring the squad’s identity firmly within its home province.
To complete the launch, the franchise debuted its official theme song to rally its fanbase. Composed and written by Suresh Adhikari, the anthem features vocals by Krishna BK. On the tactical front, seasoned national volleyball head coach Jagadish Bhatta joins the setup as team mentor, providing high-level technical guidance and strategic leadership as Karnali Shivraj prepares for competition in the NVL.
